> *agonal breathing: an abnormal and ineffective pattern of gasping, labored breathing that occurs when a person is near death.*

*If you feel like its hopeless, already past. Remember this poem, my words, and hold fast. follow me here, none of us is alone who care about others and who seek shelter together.

agonal (still) breathing
*by broomwatr*

now  is the time to look for the new
when breathin' is like gaspin
and your fingers start graspin
looking for more
than what's inside of you

now is the time to stand taller
walk on two legs or strait crawlin'
findin' new voices through the fog
not readin' some blog
as the lights dim lower than all
and here you are
watchin' all the crumblin' and fallin'

*now is the time
this is the path
follow me here
follow me here*

You weren't supposed to be this sad
and all the joys you never had
them maybes they never felt so bad
The no's you insta-regretted
the demons you aided, then abetted
the pains you thought had passed
breathin' still, even though you gasp

your dying gasps aren't dying at all
and sittin' on your ass
it aint' working no more
i'll be your landing pad
agonal (still) breathing
gaspin' (still) seekin'
lookin at the past
seein' flags at half mast
wonderin' if its already past

*now is the time
this is the path
follow me here
follow me here
agonal breathin'
still dependent
may be ascendent
on me
on you
on we
its true
follow me here
follow me
follow*
