when I die  
lay a palm on my grave  
remember me  
all the times  
played in my life  
sad glory of me  
an ancient psalm  
my pattern worn  
for the blind to see

a final tomb  
my dent in the loam  
my memory foam  
....  
as they sing  
take some time to share  
my fears untold  
let them fall  
on hearts unburned  
and unpin my soul  
let it float  
up into the sun  
I will never be cold  
   
my final tomb  
my dent in the loam  
my memory foam  
...  
as we grow  
outside our frames  
well they bend you see  
chaotic forms  
yet briefly worn  
like a satin sheet  
when I'm gone  
lay my body down  
buried in the deep

my final tomb  
a dent in the loam  
my memory foam  
...  
when they tell  
the story of us  
I hope they see  
our bridges crossed  
our restless love  
of the highest degree  
if they smile  
if they stay for a while  
then we all agree  
we are torn  
but pure when we're born  
so remember me
